What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an individual who has previous experience of preparing food, preferably in a professional kitchen/catering environment with a basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety.

Further details about the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form as a Kitchen Assistant who will provide a crucial role insupporting the schools catering team to prepare and provide high quality, nutritious food for our students.

This is a permanent position, working 16 per week, term time only. You will be required to work an additional 4 days during the school holidays to undertake deep cleans and/or undertake training and development. The normal working hours will be between 10:00am and 14.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Your actual salary will be £9,022.26 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.
