Bank Care Assistant

Shifts: 07:30-10:30/10:30-22:30/22:30-07:30 May Vary depending on their needs.

Pay: £12.50 DAYS/ £9.50 SLEEPS

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care assistant to join our client's team, providing high-quality care to individuals with complex needs. This role involves working closely with clients who require assistance with splints and boots for mobility support and those experiencing dysphagia (swallowing difficulties).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with fitting and monitoring of splints and boots to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Support clients with dysphagia management, including safe feeding techniques and adherence to prescribed dietary plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and report any changes in condition promptly.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in handling splints/boots and managing dysphagia.
  • Knowledge of safe moving and handling practices.
  • Excellent communication and empathy skills.
  • Relevant care qualifications or willingness to undergo training.
  • Driver is Required.
