Band 4 CAMHS Coordinator

12 Months Fixed Term - Maternity leave Cover



City & Hackney Child & AdolescentMental Health Service (CAMHS)ispartoftheEastLondonNHSFoundation Trust& providescommunity-basedservicesfor children and young people with mental health problemsacross City & Hackney. The services are made up of various multi-disciplinary teams.



At CAMHS we work with children and young people up to the age of 18 year’s old. We arecommittedtoworkinginpartnershipwithserviceusers, their families&theirsocialnetworkstoprovidetreatment to young people suffering from mental health disorders including Depression, Psychosis, Eating Disorders, Self-Harm and Emotional Problems.

Ourclinicalteamsrely onefficient administration systems and processes. This includes accuratedata collection,reportingandefficientelectronicadministrative systemsmanagement

To provide general administration to all CAMHS Clinicians and Managers, and their teams.



Thepostholderwillberequiredtoworkinabusy anddemandingenvironmentand shouldbeabletoworkwithoutdirectsupervisionandtoexerciseinitiative.The abilitytomulti-taskisalso essential.

Thepostrequirestheabilitytoworkonowninitiativeandtoliaiseeffectivelywitha broadrangeofprofessionsandtomaintainclient confidentiality.

Toworkalongsideandtocover,whenappropriate,otheradministration staffacross severallocationsin some instances.

The post holder is accountable & responsible for:

· Providinga comprehensive administrative service includingprocessing allreports, correspondence &documentation.

· Efficient collection,input&recordingofcasemanagementdatain linewith servicerequirements

· Identifying and resolving dataentryissues

· Toprovide a comprehensive administrative service,including processingallreports, correspondence &documentation including medical prescribing, legal reports and reports relating to child protection work, referrals, and administrative letters, arranging appointments, booking rooms.

· Attend team meetings, preparing agendas, updating electronic system (RIO), minute taking, and undertaking any admin actions arising from the meeting.

· Producing minutes and actions following team meetings in a timely and efficient manner.

Totake&relayclearmessages accurately and in timely manner

· Toensureall administrative systemsaremanaged electronicallywhere possible.

· When needed toensureallincomingpostisdate-stamped& distributedtothe appropriate persons, & outgoingmailissortedaccordingtointernal,externaldepartments&relevant agencies
