Summary

Job Overview
Join the Planned Maintenance Team to perform essential multi-skilled maintenance and repairs within temporary and social housing accommodations. Your primary focus will be on preparing housing units for new occupancy and responding to repair requests.

Key Skills and Responsibilities
Perform basic maintenance tasks across various trades, including:

Plumbing

Carpentry

Tiling

Flooring

Conduct maintenance and repairs in occupied and void accommodations.

Drive Council vehicles for business use and travel between work locations.

Essential Requirements
Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Carpentry, Plumbing, and Multiskilled Trades, plus a valid Asbestos Awareness Certificate.

Experience:

Proven history as a Multi-skilled Trade Operative.

Prior experience working on voids, repairs, and social housing/Council properties.

Experience in fitting kitchens, tiling, and flooring.

Driving & Logistics:

Full, clean UK driving licence.

Must have access to own vehicle for commuting and occasional business use.

Flexibility to work across both Kettering and Corby depots.
