Summary
The role involves working closely with teachers to plan and prepare lessons, deliver tailored activities, facilitate group work, and use of a range of instructional materials and technologies to enhance learning. You will support learners with reading, help manage behaviour positively, and contribute to their social and emotional development, reporting any concerns as needed. The position includes developing and implementing personalised learning plans or interventions, monitoring progress, and collaborating with teachers, trusted adults and external professionals to ensure each learner’s needs are effectively met. You will also assist with administrative tasks, including record-keeping, preparing classroom resources, managing equipment and technology, and supporting teachers with documentation. As part of the role, you may be required to provide personal care in line with Learning4Life-Gy’s Personal Care Policy, along with any other reasonable duties expected at this level.
