Key Details:

Salary: £25,000-£32,000 per annum
Fixed-term contracts
Start teacher training in September 2026 with school support
• Full-time, Monday–Friday, term-time only

As a Graduate Trainee Teacher, you will gain hands-on classroom experience, working alongside experienced mentors across Key Stages 1–5 depending on your placement. You’ll actively contribute to planning lessons, supporting pupils, managing classroom activities, and observing high-quality teaching practices. This invaluable experience will allow you to develop confidence, classroom management skills, and a deep understanding of the curriculum before starting your formal teacher training.

You’ll also have the opportunity to:

• Deliver small group interventions and one-to-one support
• Work closely with a mentor teacher to refine your teaching practice
• Develop professional skills such as assessment, lesson planning, and differentiation
• Gain insight into school life, pastoral care, and behaviour management
