Your key responsibilities as a Part Time SEND TA will include:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs and disabilities
- Collaborating with teachers to differentiate lesson plans and adapt teaching materials to meet the specific needs of SEND students
- Implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and monitoring student progress
- Encouraging independence and self-advocacy skills among students
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student support and progress
- Participating in regular meetings with staff, parents, and external professionals to discuss student needs and strategies for success
To be considered for this rewarding role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Relevant experience working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to supporting students

- Familiarity with various teaching strategies and assistive technologies
