Summary
Responsibilities will include:
Speaking with prospective new clients, taking
full initial instructions and passing on to the screening fee earner
File openings in relation to new business
enquiries
Providing a highly organsied and competent
telephone operator service, internally and externally
Researching legal questions around ongoing cases
when required
Applying for medical records and chasing up
disclosure requests when they become overdue
When necessary make up the post each day and
deliver to the post office
Drafting non-runner letters
Drafting complaint letters
Drafting proof of evidence

Litigation Assistant – supporting a senior fee earner and
handling a small, low value, caseload of their own, if there is a business need
at the time the learning is complete.
Qualification / Standard : ST0245 Paralegal
Duration 21 months
