Summary
Due to the maternity leave of the current post holder, Cardiff University, College of Biomedical and Life Sciences, School of Healthcare Sciences invites applications for a Teacher in Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging.
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to carry out teaching and supervision of undergraduate diagnostic radiography students. The post holder will inspire students, enabling students to develop the required skills and knowledge within their field of study.
This post provides an exciting opportunity to make a real contribution to the teaching and training of students studying at the School of Healthcare Sciences, Cardiff University.
The post holder will undertake and oversee undergraduate teaching, education and training of Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging students in both the academic and clinical settings.
The School of Healthcare Sciences provides a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate education that directly improves health outcomes and healthcare for patients and families. This includes courses and research in Midwifery; Nursing (Adult, Child and Mental Health); Occupational Therapy; Physiotherapy; Clinical Photography; Perioperative Practice; and Radiography (Diagnostic and therapy).

This position is full-time (35 hours per week) and is to cover maternity leave. The post is available from 10th November 2025 until 8th November 2026 and is based at Heath Park.
The majority of roles at Cardiff University are currently operating under “blended working” arrangements, with staff having the flexibility to work partly from home and partly from the University campus depending on specific business requirements. Discussions around these arrangements can take place after the successful candidate has been appointed.
