Westbourne Academy are looking to appoint a flexible, resilient and adaptable individual to fill the post of Community Inclusion Worker.  The successful candidate must have experience of working with young people and/or families, ideally in a school or community setting.

The purpose of this role is to support inclusion, engagement and achievement of students, including those from the Roma community, and their families, by building relationships, removing barriers to learning, fostering trust and communication, and working across school and community settings to enable students to thrive.

The ideal candidate will have a good basic level of education to GCSE level (to include English and Maths grade 4/C or equivalent) and have an understanding of barriers to learning faced by disadvantage groups. Language sills, or the willingness to learn languages relevant to the Roma community are desirable and the ability to build positive relationships with diverse backgrounds are essential. You will be an ambitious professional and will join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.

If you have what it takes, you can join an experienced, innovative team with incredible potential – and look forward to a future that could take you anywhere within the Trust’s Twenty-Two schools.
