What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an ambitious and inspirational person with a passion for making a difference, enabling staff and children to succeed to take on the role of Deputy Head Teacher at Manor Infant and Nursery School. We are looking for someone to start this appointment in April 2026.
The role involves a 2 day a week class-based responsibility.
We are a 2-form entry inner-city Infant and Nursery School. We pride ourselves on the fact that we place children at the centre of everything that we do. We endeavour to ensure every child demonstrates the characteristics of effective learning and feels safe, secure, supported, happy, and challenged. We work to ensure that all children are empowered to be the best they can be and are provided with opportunities to do so through the school values and relational practice.
We are looking for a Deputy Head who is innovative, strategically minded and a highly motivated leader to work with us to lead our friendly, forward-thinking and supportive team. They will be expected to work in close partnership with families, governors and the local community for the enhancement of the school.
