We are looking for a committed and compassionate Level 3 (Minimum) qualified Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting pupils with a high level of need, including those with Autism and communication difficulties. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support to thrive in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with complex needs, including Autism.
• Deliver a high standard of care and support for pupils with communication difficulties.
• Work under the direction of the SENDCO to implement individualised support strategies.
• Support pupils with Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Liaise with teaching staff to help pupils access the curriculum, adapting materials and approaches to suit individual learning needs.
• Promote inclusion and encourage independence in learning and social development.Essential Requirements:
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience working with children with Autism and/or additional learning needs.
• A caring, patient, and flexible approach to supporting children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.Desirable:
• A recognised qualification or specialism in SEND.
• Experience working with EHCPs and implementing personalised learning plans.
• Knowledge of strategies to support pupils with sensory and communication needs.We will offer you:
