(Term time 39 weeks or 52 weeks)
Riverbank School are looking to appoint an Administration Assistant. We are looking for an experienced administrative assistant who can offer excellent organisational skills, the ability to multitask, able to prioritise, whilst having excellent professional skills.
The post will be made up of a Permanent 15-hour post working Tuesday and Friday and a Temporary 7.5 hour post working a Thursday, until 31.08.2026, with the working hours being 8am to 4pm on these days.
We have a warm and nurturing school culture which helps to develop pupils social skills successfully.
Riverbank School supports pupils aged 3-11 with a variety of additional learning needs including speech, communication and language difficulties, autistic spectrum condition, severe learning difficulties and physical and medical needs. Riverbank school is a caring and nurturing community that provides valuable care support and guidance for its pupils. Staff place pupils wellbeing at the heart of all aspects of their work to ensure we always "learning together to be the best we can".
The successful candidate will have excellent communication, ICT skills and experience of being the first point of contact for the school supporting parents, staff and pupils. In return we can offer the opportunity to play a key role in our schools and to be supported by an experienced senior management team who will ensure career and personal development and the opportunity for on-going training.
Riverbank School, Ty Gwyn School and Woodlands School are part of the Western Learning Federation and as it is the only special school federation in Wales. We are a truly unique organisation where our schools support pupils aged 3-19 with Autism and/or profound and complex needs.
