Summary
Penair is a large progressive and innovative secondary school wishing to develop an outstanding culture and provision. We are looking for an individual with the skills, experience and passion to contribute to achieving this aim.
As a Teacher Practitioner you will be expected to teach your own classes and deliver lessons to the highest standard and help to achieve Penair’s vision ‘Live to Learn.’ You will also be asked to work with small groups and carry out specialist support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs - specifically social, emotional and mental health needs.
The successful candidate will have unlimited optimism, excellent communication skills and a tenacity to succeed.
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Higher Level Teaching Assistant and/or Graduate with teaching experience would be beneficial but is not essential. The ability to teach mathematics would also be desirable but not essential.
