Temporary with the potential to become Permanent.
Our client is looking for a warehouse operative with counterbalance forklift to join their experienced team on a potential Temporary to Permanent basis for the right person.
As a warehouse operative your daily tasks are:
Operating a forklift Counterbalance to load and unload
Goods-in - carrying out inspections of incoming materials and checking for and reporting damages.
Goods-out - checking items for damages against customer requirements, checking details against delivery note.
Checking paperwork, using scanners
Keeping site and warehouse clean and tidy.
For the warehouse operative role you must have an up-to-date forklift counterbalance licence, accredited (not in house) and experience within any of the following warehouse / goods in / goods out / materials handling / yard / stores work previously.
Good fitness is essential, a "Can do" attitude and the ability to work in a team.
Hours are Monday to Friday 6.00am - 2.00pm / 1pm - 9pm rotating weekly shifts with earlier finish Fridays – 39 paid hours.
