We are looking for a confident Learning Disabilities Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You’ll be working 42 hours a week (Including Days, Nights and Alternative Weekends), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Willow House.

Willow House is a specialist residential service with nursing for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

The team at Willow House aim to promote individuals’ independence. They do this by working closely with people to ensure that their wishes, needs and interests are met. Willow House has regular house meetings where they discuss a wide range of topics, from meal planning to arranging their social calendars.

The people we support:

  • Male and female, aged 18+ years
  • Primary diagnosis of learning disability
  • May require nursing support
  • May have mobility needs
  • May have autism
  • May have complex mental and physical health needs
  • May have behaviours that challenge

Your day-to-day…

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs
  • Report on medical & welfare needs as required
  • Safeguard
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
