We’re hiring Sewing Machinist Assistant in Leicester
Stratton Mills are an employment business who provide Manufacturing Personnel around the UK. We have a great opportunity for the right Sewing Machinist Assistant. Successful candidates will be offered full time shifts on a temporary to permanent basis.
Breakdown for the Sewing Machinist Assistant Role:
• Salary: £12.50 per hour
• Hours: Full-time (37,5 hours per week)
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Immediate Start
• Location: LE7, Leicester, Leicestershire
Duties for the Sewing Machinist Assistant Role:
• Preparing work for the Sewing Machinists team and performing quality checks.
• Reporting any issues regarding materials, machinery, or production quality to the Machinist Team Leader, and completing all relevant paperwork accurately
• Performing tasks such as packing, labelling, trimming, and cutting various materials
Ideal Sewing Machinist Assistant Candidate:
• Previous experience working in an industrial sewing team within a factory environment
• Strong communication skills
• Organised and able to maintain the work area according to 5S standards
