Summary
We’re looking for a dedicated Responder to join our incredible team on a maternity leave cover. This is a shift based role where you will have the opportunity to make a real and lasting difference in people's lives. The Reach & Respond service operates on a 24/7 basis, and supports nearly 9,000 vulnerable people to live independently and safely in their own homes. You'll need to be forward-thinking, solution-focused and willing to champion the services we offer.

The role involves some of the following key tasks:
Providing emergency response visits, for example assisting a customer in the event of a fall at home, or providing support and reassurance to customers if they are unwell or are in need of assistance
Installation of a range of assistive technology equipment and undertaking maintenance and repair activity
Collecting and maintaining accurate customer information to support a person-centred, quality service to our customers
Contributing to promotional activities
Providing information and advice to our customers.
You will need to have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, using your initiative to build strong relationships across the service area and with partner organisations. You will also need to be able to:
Use your own initiative
Exercise a high degree of flexibility
Demonstrate you are computer literate
Use your strong communication and interpersonal skills within the role.
This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, offering 33.6 standard hours per week. Shifts are scheduled on a rotating basis, covering Monday to Sunday, across a 24 hour service, 7 days a week.
