Summary
To oversee the thorough cleaning of the factory following key inspection points and ensuring customer standards are met
Main Responsibilities:
§ To take responsibility of all aspects of hygiene and cleaning within the factory
§ Report on faults and corrective action taken
§ Ensure all personnel are trained and authorised to use the medium pressure water system
§ Ensure all personnel are trained in the correct identification of chemicals and safe storage
§ Ensure operators are following current work specification procedures
§ Ensure personnel work to rule on Company breaks
§ Liaise with training department to ensure all operators training schedules are completed on time
§ Liaise with other department managers to aid in production flow and discuss daily production issues
§ Monitor employee absence levels, conduct back to work interviews and conduct corrective action
§ Quality
§ Work with the quality department, management and production personnel in a proactive way to minimize
quality problems
§ Ensure all personnel are aware of quality systems and customer requirements
§ H&S
§ Ensure staff follow COSHH, health & safety guidelines and accident notification procedures
§ Ensure risk assessments are carried out on all new projects
§ EMS
§ Maintain personal awareness of environmental management systems
