As a Deputy Manager, you’ll be on the shop floor, leading by example, supporting your team, and ensuring the store runs smoothly. Whether you’re motivating colleagues, solving customer queries, or jumping in during busy moments, you’ll help make the store a place customers love to shop.

Salary & Hours
- £33,545 FTE
- 44 hours per week

- Grow confident, capable leaders: You won’t just lead the team, you'll help shape it. From giving feedback and sharing knowledge to supporting training and spotting potential, you’ll play a big part in developing the next generation of Home Bargains leaders.
- Experience supervising small to medium-sized teams in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment
- A proven ability to lead teams to achieve high weekly sales targets
- Confidence in supporting recruitment, training, and day-to-day team development
- A strong understanding of store priorities, standards, and customer service expectations
You’ll also need to demonstrate:
- The ability to prioritise and organise work
- A strong focus on customer experience
- Clear and effective communication
- Team leadership and problem-solving skills
- Commercial awareness and a drive to deliver results
