Summary
Abingdon Surgery Vision Statement:To provide professional, personalised, and high-quality healthcare services to our patients underpinned by our shared values and vision. This is an exciting role for someone working/looking to work in primary care wishing to progress their career. The post holder will be working in a busy and demanding environment and therefore need to be highly organised and be able to work flexibly within the team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail. Working closely with the GP Partners and Practice Manager, you will support the delivery of practice and PCN priorities through a broad range of duties appropriate to your training and competency. These may include preparing and organising clinical information, coordinating elements of patient journeys (for example tests, referrals and follow-up), contributing to management of health records and recall processes, and providing targeted administrative support for agreed projects. You will need to have effective communication skills both written and verbal, be organised, methodical and able to work quickly and accurately.
