Summary
Working within the Education Service, the post holder will support and contribute to the development of learning technologies across all professional groups as part of the TEL Team. This includes working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design and produce digital learning content such as educational videos, audio, graphics, and eLearning courses. These resources will be hosted on our internal LMS, YouTube, and WordPress platforms. The post holder will also take responsibility for managing and updating our website and intranet pages, ensuring they remain current and aligned with developments within the service. They will support communication activities, including producing posters and leaflets and promoting our work through various social media channels. They will oversee the safe use, care, and inventory of photography and film equipment, including cameras, microphones, and other digital tools that can be booked by Trust staff. The role involves providing guidance and support to end users and building strong working relationships with Education colleagues and staff across the Trust. A strong creative flair is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to stay up to date with emerging technologies and design trends to ensure our learning resources remain modern and at the forefront of learning design within the NHS. Working with colleagues across the Trust, the post holder will support the effective implementation and use of technology enhanced learning resources. They will use a range of software tools to design and create digital multimedia products that support online learning. These learning solutions will help improve patient care and ensure the Trust meets all statutory, mandatory, and regulatory training requirements. The post holder will provide high-quality technical advice and support to ensure that blended learning solutions meet the needs of the organisation and support the effective delivery of the Education Plan. They will also develop and maintain the Education Service website and promote our services and events online through the website, our YouTube channel, and social media platforms.
