Salary: Negotiable up to £16.31/hr

The Company
Our client is a specialist company principally engaged in the design, fabrication and installation of highly engineered steelwork, staircases and balustrade systems.
With the expertise and experience to deliver wide ranging solutions, they handle everything from small one-off applications to multi-site, multi-flight installations.
The Role
We are looking to recruit a Fabricator Welder to join our team in a workshop-based environment. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Key responsibilities will include:
Fabrication and welding of staircases, balustrades and other secondary steelwork.
Reading and interpreting detailed fabrication drawings.
Working independently and as part of a team to complete projects.
Communicating with draughtsmen to resolve drawing queries.
Creating jigs for repetitive fabrication tasks.
Delivering skilled MIG welding in Fillet, Multi Run and Butt to Tube & Plate.
Producing work to a high standard from technical drawings.
Experience / Qualifications
Skilled MIG welder with proven workshop experience.
Certificates in MIG Welding are essential.
Time-served in the fabrication of steel stairs and balustrades.
Experience in mild steel fabrication.
Overhead crane licence preferred.
Strong understanding of health and safety in a workshop setting.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be dependent on experience, and we offer a competitive benefits package including company pension, sick pay scheme, health plan, cycle to work scheme, the option to purchase additional holidays, and regular overtime availability.
Working hours are 39 hrs per week 7.30am – 4.30pm Mon – Thu & 7.30am – 12.30pm Fri.
