About the Role
Gist in Faversham is looking for reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our professional trunking team. This is a non-manual trunking role involving the transportation of goods between regional depots and distribution centres – no handballing required.
We pride ourselves on offering flexibility — you can choose the rota that suits your lifestyle, as long as it includes at least one weekend day.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out trunking runs to and from distribution centres and partner depots.
• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in compliance with UK road and driving regulations.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Represent Gist professionally when interacting with customers and colleagues.

Requirements
• Minimum 18 months’ HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• Valid UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations.
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude.
