Summary
Business Development Consultant
• Outskirts of Cardiff, Office Based, with options for hybrid working post-probation
• Permanent
• Full Time, Monday – Thursday 8:45am – 4:45pm, Friday 8:45am – 3:30pm
• Salary £25,000 + uncapped commission (Realistic OTE £33,000 per annum)

The Role:
As a Business Development Consultant, you will join a high-performing team of ambitious sales professionals, committed to achieving ambitious targets. You will proactively develop new business opportunities via outbound telesales activity. Nurturing a pipeline, you will initiate and sustain B2B relationships, offering training and apprenticeship opportunities within the Health and Social Care sector.
Responsibilities:
• Proactively embarking on outbound telesales activity.
• Developing new business relationships with prospective partners.
• Providing expert advise in respect to training, apprenticeships and funding available.
• Logging all customer contact on the CRM, using this to manage and organise your pipeline.
• Negotiate contracts and onboard new clients.
• Account management of new business contracts achieved via proactive sales activities.
• Identifying client needs and upselling services.
• Providing specialist advise and guidance in respect to retained clients and evolving legislation.
• Nurturing long-term relationships which will see your position evolve from new business sales to Account Management.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Highly communicative with the ability to listen and ask open questions.
• Able to identify pain points and offer solutions.
• ICT literate with the capacity to pick up new systems and processes.
• Organised with excellent attention to details.
• Enthusiastic to learn, able to absorb new information and motivated by success.
Desirable:
• Experience within sales is certainly desirable, though by no means essential.
