Summary
Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Lift Service Engineer for our client based in Glasgow, covering the East coast of Scotland.
Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lift Engineer to join a well-established and growing maintenance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring high standards of lift service, safety, and reliability across a varied client base. This position offers scope for progression, additional earning potential, and specialised offshore work with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake lift maintenance, callouts, and minor repairs across a designated service area.
Manage and maintain service routes including documentation and route paperwork transmission.
Complete insurance report items and SAFed testing requirements.
Participate in a 24/7 callout rota (currently 1 in 4 weeks).
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Skills & Experience:
NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering.
Minimum 3 years’ experience within the lift industry.
Strong knowledge of both traction and hydraulic lift systems.
Excellent IT literacy and familiarity with digital service processes.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Full valid UK driving licence.
Must be willing to undergo a PVG check
Offering:
Basic salary up to £44k per annum
Additional pay for on-call and Off Shore work
Unlimited weekday overtime (within H&S limits), with optional weekend repair work.
Company van provided with paid travel time (engine on to engine off).
