Golden Fortress Care Solutions is a growing care provider dedicated to delivering high-quality community-based support to adults and older people across West Lothian. We are seeking committed and professional Community Carers to join our expanding team.
As part of Golden Fortress, you will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for the people we support — enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
Your Responsibilities
Provide high-quality personal care and support in line with individual care plans.
Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and medication support.
Promote independence, choice, and dignity at all times.
Build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
Record and report accurately in line with company and regulatory standards.
Report any concerns about wellbeing, harm, or safeguarding to line manager immediately.
Work in partnership with colleagues, families, and external professionals.
Follow infection prevention and control (IPC) procedures and safe working practices.
Attend mandatory training and professional development sessions.
Adhere to Golden Fortress Care Solutions’ policies, procedures, and values.
About You
A caring, patient, and reliable nature.
Genuine compassion and commitment to supporting people in their own homes.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliability, flexibility, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to undertake training and development, including SVQ qualifications if not already held.
Ability to respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries.
Ability to adapt to varying situations.
Knowledge of person-centred and outcome-based approaches.
Previous experience in care (preferred but not essential – full training provided)
A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
