• To assist with the running of the Breast imaging Service.
• To assist Radiologists during interventional procedures
• To assist Radiographers during Interventional Procedures
• To prepare patients for their examinations
• To teach junior members of staff and students
• To perform high quality Breast Radiographs

We are looking to recruit a radiographer with sophisticated communication skills and a patient-centered approach who is interested in a career in breast imaging. You will need to have extensive general radiographic experience.

The successful candidate will gain experience in a in a systematic one stop breast clinic, cold lists and biopsies at the Macmillan Cancer Centre. The candidate must be HCPC registered and will be supported to complete a Post Graduate Certificate of Professional Practice in Mammography. You must capable and willing to work to the highest standards.

As a department, we are very supportive of role development, currently we have mammographers who report as well as perform breast biopsies and a Consultant Mammographer running One Stop Clinics and cold lists.
