Summary
We are urgently seeking two Primary School Teachers to join a specialist setting from January 2026. Positions are available on a full-time, permanent or temporary basis.
This is a unique and rewarding environment supporting children in Years 3–6 with a range of SEN needs, including SEMH, ASC, ADHD and SCLN. All pupils experience academic delays of 1–4 years, and classes are intentionally small - a maximum of 6 learners, supported by one or two Teaching Assistants. This allows for truly individualised, relationship-focused teaching where you can make a meaningful impact every day.
As part of this dedicated team, you’ll create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment tailored to the diverse needs of the children. The setting values creativity, consistency, and a trauma-informed approach, and is committed to helping every child grow in confidence, communication, and independence.
Working Hours:
• Monday & Thursday: 8:15am – 4:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:15am – 4:30pm
• Wednesday: 8:15am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:15am – 3:30pm
Hours, alongside planning and marking expectations, can be negotiated for the right candidate.
What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience supporting learners with SEMH, ASC, ADHD, SCLN or similar needs
• Confidence teaching primary-aged pupils working significantly below age-related expectations
• A nurturing, patient and adaptable teaching style
• Strong behaviour management skills underpinned by empathy and consistency
• A collaborative approach, working closely with support staff and wider professionals
• Ideally, access to your own transport (due to the nature of the setting)
What You’ll Receive
• A dedicated consultant available 24/7 to support you throughout the onboarding and placement process
• Competitive, market-leading rates of pay
• Guaranteed Payment Scheme (Terms & Conditions apply)
• Access to CPD courses and certificates through the My-Progression platform
• Referral bonus – earn up to £100 when you refer a friend (T&Cs apply)
• PAYE payment system with no admin fees, ensuring correct tax and NI deductions
If you’re ready to take on a fulfilling role where your teaching can genuinely transform the lives of children with complex needs, we’d love to hear from you.
