Lead the next chapter of transformation at one of North Surrey's most resilient Further Education institutions – Brooklands
Technical College
Brooklands Technical College (BTC) is a financially strong, stand-alone provider serving a diverse and complex demographic across
two campuses in North Surrey. Following the successful conclusion of a six-year period of FEC intervention, our agility,
resilience, and strong brand identity have created a firm foundation for long-term sustainability and ambitious growth.
We are seeking an inspirational and highly experienced leader to join our Executive Team as Deputy Principal. This is a critical
leadership role, strategically accountable for Curriculum, Teaching & Learning, and Innovation. You will be the driving force
behind BTC's continued evolution towards our vision of becoming an exceptional provider, as we form our new strategic plan.
Our strategic direction is closely aligned with the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP), with a core focus on high-demand sectors
including Engineering, Construction, Digital Technologies, and Health. This mission is supported by a fully funded, transformative
estate redevelopment programme at our Weybridge campus, due for completion in Autumn 2027, ensuring modern, fit-for-purpose
learning environments.
The successful candidate will be:
* An experienced educational leader with a proven track record of driving improvement.
* Someone with an appetite to embrace innovation and position the College for sustained growth.
* Passionate about delivering a high-quality learner experience and committed to our College Values and inclusive approach to
serving our local communities.
Join us to shape the future of technical education and make a tangible impact on the skills pipeline of North Surrey.
