- Test drive vehicles post-repair to verify the effectiveness of repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics using specialised equipment
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Skills
-Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple repair tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Prior experience in automotive repair is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
