Summary
Primary Duties & Areas of Responsibilities Monitor, analyse, and interpret security alerts and incidents from Trust security systems, including identifying compromised systems, abnormal user behaviour, and missing or outdated security controls(e.g., antivirus not installed or outdated). Provide cyber security guidance to D&I technical teams, supporting the identification and remediation ofvulnerabilities. Escalate critical security issues to relevant UHP D&I cyber security personnel, including actionablerecommendations for resolution. Ensure timely communication of potential cyber threats to the IT Services Senior Cyber Team. Perform regular vulnerability assessments across all networked devices using appropriate tools andtechniques and manage identified risks within agreed timeframes or implement suitable technicalmitigations. Support the preparation and submission of assurance evidence for oversight committees, DSP Toolkitreturns, and other audits. Collaborate with the cyber security team to prioritise and respond to service requests, investigations,planned maintenance, and ad-hoc information queries in a timely manner. Other Responsibilities Participate in regular performance appraisals to support professional development. Complete all required training to maintain role competency, including mandatory courses such as FireSafety and Manual Handling. Promote and maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Trust policies. Adhere to Trust Infection Control Policies at all times to minimise the risk of healthcare-associatedinfections.
