Summary
We are looking for
Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a role where safety, teamwork, and efficiency a valued?
We’re looking for a reliable forklift operator to transport goods in a safe and timely manner to ensure schedules, customer requirements and health and safety rules are adhered to whilst maintaining high quality standards
Working hours: 05:15 - 17:30 on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
The position
• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load, move, and store goods.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records, including forklift check sheets, loading plans, and reject forms.
• Carry out basic forklift maintenance — keeping it clean, fuelled, and in top working condition.
• Make sure pallets, trays, and bins are stacked neatly, securely, and in the right place.
• Work with care to avoid damage to goods, equipment, or the workplace.
• Report any issues or incidents straight away.
• Keep your work area clean, tidy, and safe.
• Support your team with additional duties as needed.
Person specification
• A valid Counterbalance B1 Forklift licence (essential).
• Good balance and coordination — hand, eye, and foot.
• The ability to judge weights, heights, and distances accurately.
• Flexibility to work in different temperatures depending on the season.
