We're looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator with the skills to keep Greenway in tiptop condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit and love the place.
Salary: £16,075.80 pro rata (FTE £26,793 per annum)

Contract: Permanent

Hours/ working pattern: 1170 hours per year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.



What it's like to work here
Working across a portfolio of listed buildings, grounds and gardens in South Devon, working days are subject to the needs of the property and will be varied throughout the year. The Facilities Team is integral to the services provided and sensitive to the needs of our hundreds of thousands of paying visitors a year. We provide 7 day a week cover most of the year and are sympathetic to the working environment of our colleagues, we do all we can to make it happen!

We do our best to ensure minimal disruption whilst ensuring the facilities run efficiently, without waste and safely.

What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this is a practical role. You will complete compliance tasks and actions dictated by various health and safety law. This could include testing fire alarms, maintaining accurate records, managing waste, gutter clearance and some minor repairs. You will meet contractors to provide flexible access, share property knowledge and monitor work and assist to coordinate planning ensuring the best outcome for the Trust and the property teams. You will communicate effectively to ensure minimal disruption and support other teams to deliver excellent customer service in beautiful places. It is a varied role and may require last minute changes and flexibility during the working day. Due to the remoteness of some properties, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.


Who we're looking for

• experience of co-ordination and delivery of facilities management and support services
• experience in compliance and risk management
• ability to use systems and information management
• awareness of conservation, environmental, and sustainability
• financial and resource coordination skills

• experience of using hand tools and power tools
