Summary
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join our clients fabrication and construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical welding abilities and experience working with structural steel.
Key Responsibilities:
-Weld and fabricate structural steel components using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick (SMAW) welding processes.
-Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, drilling, or shaping steel components.
-Perform layout, fitting, and assembly of steel structures according to specifications.
-Conduct weld inspections and ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.
-Operate hand and power tools such as grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and magnetic drills.
-Work at heights on scaffolding or elevated platforms when required.
Requirements:
-Familiarity with CNC cutting, robotic welding, or advanced fabrication equipment.
-Valid CSCS is preferred.
-Proven experience as a welder, preferably within structural or heavy steelwork.
-Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding.
-Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, overhead).
-Valid welding certifications (e.g., ASME, AWS, EN ISO) preferred.
