Relief officer working on site for a large corporate client in Norwich. All shifts are 12 hours.
It is essential that you live within 30 minutes of Norwich, have a full UK driving licence, be over the age of 21 and have your own vehicle to commute to and from work.
Must be able towork night shifts Monday-Sunday and be available to cover annual leave and last minute blow outs.
The role requires plenty of walking and standing on your feet, patrolling internal and external of a large multistorey building.
There is potential for additional work at other locations in Norwich and Lowestoft.

Key Responsibilities
Security & Risk Management
-Maintain vigilance over the work environment to identify potential threats, disruptions, or breaches.
-Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, escalating to appropriate authorities or teams as required.
-Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports, supporting robust governance and regulatory compliance.
-Demonstrate composure and professionalism when handling challenging situations, ensuring the protection of people, assets, and data.
-Adhere to scheduled check-ins and communication protocols to maintain operational integrity.
Operational Excellence
-Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, legal, and regulatory requirements, under the guidance of the Corporate Security Managers.
-Execute duties with diligence and professionalism, adhering to Assignment Instructions (AI's) and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.
-Monitor operational processes and proactively suggest improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
-Adhere to statutory and organisational Health & Safety regulations, reporting any potential risks immediately.
Training & Professional Development
-Maintain all required licences and certifications, including Security Guarding, Door Supervision, and CCTV PSS SIA, ensuring they are always current.
-Complete all mandatory competency and compliance training to the highest standard.
-Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance job knowledge and operational expertise.
-Utilise technology effectively to achieve work objectives and maintain accurate records.

-Strong situational awareness, attention to detail, and commitment to compliance and ethical standards.
-Demonstrate that you understand the purpose of your role and be curious on what is happening in the environment you work in.

-Proven experience within the security sector, ideally within corporate or financial services environments.
-Current SIA Licence (Door Supervision)
