About the Role:
We are seeking an Experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our client’s team in the Reading area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabricating and assembling sheet metal products and structures used in HVAC systems, ductwork, and custom metal projects. The role requires precision, technical skill, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret shop drawings, and technical specifications.
-Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery.
-Fabricate and assemble ductwork, fittings, and other metal components to precise tolerances.
-Perform welding, and riveting as required.
-Inspect assemblies for accuracy, alignment, and quality standards.
Requirements:
-Over 5 years experience
-Able to use a guillotine
-Able to use a break press and folding machine
-Manual dexterity and physical stamina
