Summary
Training
You’ll work towards the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
Training will be delivered alongside your work, giving you real experience while you learn new skills.
What you’ll do at work
You’ll gain hands-on experience and learn how to:
Create and manage rotas, scheduling care visits and making adjustments as needed
Be the first point of contact for service users, families, and care staff
Handle queries, resolve problems, and escalate concerns when appropriate
Keep accurate and compliant records, including care plans, risk assessments, and incident logs
Support the onboarding of new staff by checking documents, updating training records, and maintaining personnel files
Monitor punctuality, call logs, and visit outcomes, reporting issues promptly
Help with recruitment administration, staff supervision scheduling, and audits
Produce reports and support quality improvement within the service
Requirements and Prospects
Essential Qualifications
GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade A–E / 9–2)*
Other relevant qualifications or experience can be considered – your apprenticeship will be tailored to your skills and knowledge
