Summary
This nursery is looking for a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their team. The role involves supporting the care, development, and education of young children in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS guidelines.
Assess children’s development and progress, maintaining accurate records.
Promote health, safety, and good hygiene practices in the nursery.
Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure a high standard of care.
Support safeguarding practices, ensuring children’s welfare is always prioritised.
Use initiative while adapting to the needs of the children and the nursery environment.
Requirements:
Essential:
Level 3 childcare qualification
Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
Knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding practices
References and DBS check
Personal Attributes:
Flexible, adaptable, and quick learner
Ability to work under pressure and take constructive feedback
Team player with initiative and a genuine interest in working with children
