We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic ability, high technical competence, and proven experience in workshop operations and quality control. The role involves carrying out accurate diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs, and contributing to efficient workshop performance.
Key Duties
Perform advanced diagnostics using Autel, Launch, and OEM systems (XENTRY, CONSULT, SDD/Pathfinder).
Conduct wiring diagram interpretation, live data analysis, smoke testing, and parasitic drain testing.
Complete mechanical repairs including timing belts/chains, head gasket work, valve jobs, and engine R&I.
Service and repair manual, automatic, DSG, and CVT transmissions.
Carry out electrical, HVAC, and module programming/flashing tasks.
Diagnose and repair ABS, ESC, EPS, hydraulic brake systems, and steering (including rack & pinion R&I).
Maintain accurate digital service logs, technical reports, and quality control documentation.
Provide clear communication of repair findings and estimates to customers.
Support workshop efficiency and ensure high-quality, first-time-fix standards.
Experience
4+ years hands-on experience as an vehicle technician.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent essential
B.sc Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
