ANZUK Education is supporting an Outstanding special school in North London that caters for pupils with PMLD, complex physical disabilities, sensory needs and significant medical needs. We are seeking an experienced PMLD Teacher who is confident delivering a sensory-led, highly differentiated curriculum and creating meaningful, engaging learning opportunities for pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities. You will lead a small, well-supported class, working closely with physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and specialist support staff.
Your role will involve developing personalised learning plans, supporting communication through AAC, objects of reference and intensive interaction, and nurturing each pupil's engagement, wellbeing and independence. The school values creativity, patience and a relationship-led approach, ensuring every student is understood, celebrated and supported to make individual progress.
This position suits a teacher who is compassionate, adaptable and committed to high-quality specialist provision for pupils with complex needs.
Key details:
- Long-term role with pay to scale where applicable
- Daily rate: £155 - £191.29 depending on experience and PAYE/Umbrella
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) required
- Experience teaching pupils with PMLD is essential
