We are delighted to be recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming primary schools in the Ashington area. This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs, particularly pupils with ASD and ADHD.
While this position is primarily based within a primary setting, we also have additional opportunities available across KS3 and above for candidates interested in working with older learners.

Role Responsibilities
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in helping pupils thrive both academically and socially.
Supporting Pupils

Provide consistent 1:1 support for pupils with ASD and ADHD

Assist small groups with activities set by the class teacher

Help pupils develop communication, social skills, and confidence
