Our client, a respected nursery in Bracknell, Berkshire, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-time Block Bookings - Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join their nurturing team. As a vital member of our client's staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of the children under your care. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £15.00 per hour.
The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or an equivalent credential, along with prior experience working in a nursery setting. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the lead practitioner in delivering high-quality care and education to the children
- Observing and assessing children's development, maintaining accurate records, and sharing insights with parents and colleagues
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children by adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures
- Building positive relationships with children, their families, and fellow staff members
- Assisting with daily routines such as mealtimes, nappy changes, and rest periods
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and inviting learning environment
