We are seeking an enthusiastic Lead Regulatory Assurance Manager to join our vibrant and dedicated team.

The role: To provide oversight of regional quality and risk profile including analysis of data, audit findings, incidents and concerns. - Working with operations to improve quality in care homes and embed improvement initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:


Provide advice to home managers and Regional Directors on how best to meet or exceed regulations, standards and associated
Support delivery of Care UK’s regulatory compliance strategy / quality assurance approach
Oversee development of effective service improvement plans and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Carryout and support completion of regulatory assurance visits in high-risk homes.
Lead on development and delivery of training at regional and national level.
Lead on quality improvement projects working across operations and other support teams.
Manage a team of Regulatory Assurance Managers.
Deputise for Head of Regulatory Governance as required.
Ensure internal regulatory assurance reports are of an appropriate standard and consistent, proportionate and balanced.
Serve as a point of contact for inspectors, local authorities, commissioners, and safeguarding teams
Provide advice to operations on how to respond to concerns / serious incidents in line with Care UK’s Serious Incident Response Framework.
Identifying learning from serious incidents and ensuring a robust response to regulator and coroners.
Lead on due diligence reviews and visits to homes that Care UK/ WT maybe considering acquiring.
Hold high risk new acquisitions within portfolio to manage action plans / oversee until stability and BAU.




What We're Looking For:


Detailed knowledge and application of relevant legislation and regulatory framework.
Experience of working in a senior regulatory or quality role.
Knowledge of the care sector in particular care home-based services.
Sound understanding of quality improvement & governance.
