Regional Support Manager (Nurse-Qualified) | South Central England | £85,000 + Bonus + Package
Care Concern Group is expanding in the South Central region, and we are seeking an experienced, inspiring, and hands-on Regional Support Manager to join our senior operations team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the delivery of care across eight services, comprising 544 registered beds, with over 70% current occupancy, very low use of agency, and an impressive average weekly fee of £1,666.
You will support a diverse mix of residential, nursing, and dementia homes, including Floryn House, Harrier Grange, Longbridge Deverill, Oakdene, Ridgeway Rise, Rowan Park, Valerian Court, and Yarnley House. With four newly commissioned services, your clinical and operational expertise will be pivotal in driving quality, sustainability, and growth across the region.
Reporting to the Regional Director, who is not nurse-qualified, your nursing leadership will provide essential oversight in clinical governance and care excellence.

The role:
As Regional Support Manager, you will:
- Support and develop Home Managers, Deputies, and Clinical Leads, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and clinical governance across the region.
- Lead improvement initiatives, particularly supporting Oakdene, a focus home requiring turnaround and governance support.
- Oversee adherence to regulations, company policies, and quality frameworks, acting as a clinical safeguard.
- Recruit, retain, and mentor clinical and departmental staff, building strong, sustainable teams.
- Step in to provide interim management when required, ensuring stability and continuity for residents and staff.
- Promote digitalisation and new ways of working across the region.
- Travel across the South Central region, including overnight stays for clusters of homes, and support alternative weekend on-call with the Regional Director.
About you:
- Nurse-qualified (RGN or RMN) essential, ideally with multi-site or regional oversight experience.
- Proven Home Manager experience, ideally across similar care settings and bed sizes.
- Strong record of CQC outcomes, turnaround, and commissioning experience.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching skills able to inspire, not just manage, highly experienced Home Managers.
- Commercially astute with the ability to balance quality and financial performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including families, regulators, and local authorities.
- Detailed, systematic, resilient, and personable with strong values; able to lead by example in hands-on environments.
- Comfortable with travel and flexible working to support regional needs.
