Your new company
Working for a company that works alongside the NHS in helping getting people diagnosed using the referral system. You will be working fully remote for the whole duration currently at 16 weeks (potentially could be extended depending on work load)
Hours are either 8-4/ 9-6 or 10-6 depending on what you prefer to work.
Pay £13 per hour.
Your new role
As a Referrals and Bookings coordinator, you will provide a high-class service to patients who are contacting the service. You will be an advocate for change in our digital transformation pathway. You will need to work closely with our Referrals App, TalkDesk, internal and external email systems, such as NHSmail along with accessing MedQare Portal on a daily basis.
The post holder will also liaise with our psychiatrists, nurse prescribers and clinicians providing therapeutic services to ensure our patients receive the first-class service they can expect from the company.
- Process referrals across the whole business
- Answering email enquiries.
- Arranging and scheduling appointments within the Patient Portal, with the support of automation
- Utilise excellent written and verbal communication skills to connect with a wide range of people, including our patients, their representatives and other stakeholders.
- Locate and collate data, records and logs
- Cross reference data to ensure accuracy
- Provide appropriate support to patients through their journey
- Providing minimal outbound call support to patients to manage short notice appointments as and when required.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Provide cover for colleagues when and where necessary
- Plan own workload to ensure that weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks and targets are met.
- Prioritise workload with consideration to issues arising and responding to shifting priorities appropriately.
What you'll need to succeed
- GSCE grade C in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills in a digital environment
- A flexible, can-do and resilient attitude.
- Data Entry experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and to use initiative, while able to follow instruction when required.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills providing the ability to prioritise work and multi-task.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to hit targets and drive KPIs', understanding the importance of this.
- Willingness to support other areas of the business where demand and capacity requirements take precedence, at short notice.
- Ability to adapt to different business areas and changes within processes.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
