NJC Pay Scale, Band 3 Scale Points 6 - 11 (£25,989 - £28,142 FTE)

Actual Salary, £22,353.54 -£24,205.37

Working Pattern: 36.25 hours per week,

Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00, Term time including 5 INSET days

The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and hard-working Food Technology Technician to join our dedicated team at Ashton on Mersey School. The core purpose of the role will be to provide specialist technical and practical support within the Food Technology department and to provide additional support where appropriate across the faculty.

This exciting opportunity will suit a candidate who demonstrates the following qualities, knowledge and skills:

Previous experience in a similar role.

A good level of IT skills, particularly word processing and spreadsheets.

Ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload

An enthusiastic and positive attitude

Ability to use own initiative in undertaking a task

Flexible approach to working arrangements

Proven ability to communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels, both verbally and in writing.

Ability and willingness to work in a team

Ability to work with and motivate children

Willingness to undertake further training and development opportunities
