Summary

Nursery Practitioners (Level 2 or 3 qualified) | Preston | Full-time/Part-time, Permanent | Working hours are 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday | £12.46 per hour

Our client is a well-established and nurturing childcare provider dedicated to giving every child the very best start in life. In their brand-new, purpose-built setting, children are encouraged to explore, learn, and thrive in a safe and inspiring environment.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about early years education and want to play an important role in helping young children flourish every day.

They are recruiting for two positions in the Baby Room and one position in the Toddler Room, and newly qualified practitioners are warmly encouraged to apply.

Are you the right person for the job?

* A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years is essential
* Passionate about child development, with experience (or newly qualified) in working with young children in a childcare setting
* Excellent communicator - friendly, clear, and confident when interacting with both children and adults
* Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and a commitment to ensuring every child's safety
* Hold (or willing to obtain) a DBS and First Aid Certificate (DBS provided and paid for if required)
* Fluent in English and a true team player, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues

What will your role look like?

* Provide high-quality childcare and early years education in line with the EYFS framework
* Plan, prepare, and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development
* Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where children feel loved, secure, and excited to learn
* Build and maintain strong relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues
* Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create a supportive and cohesive atmosphere focused on children's well-being and learning
* Ensure all safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations are consistently followed
* Bring energy, care, and enthusiasm every day to help children thrive and enjoy their learning
