About the RoleIn this role, you will:Deliver high-quality, immediate support and safety advice to victims and survivors of domestic abuse via the IDAS helpline.Complete risk assessments and safety plans to reduce harm and support the wellbeing of individuals and their families.Carry out holistic, client-centred needs assessments and make appropriate referrals to internal and external services, referring high-risk clients to the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and represent them as needed.Liaise with agencies such as housing, health, social services, police, and legal professionals to advocate for clients.Participate in the delivery of both daytime and out-of-hours helpline services.Support clients in making their homes safer and accessing refuge or counselling services where appropriate.Highlight safeguarding concerns and report them in line with IDAS procedures.Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion by ensuring services are accessible and responsive to the needs of all communities, including those who are underrepresented or marginalised.
