Religious Education Teacher – The Role

This secondary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join their Humanities department. The successful candidate will teach RE across Key Stages 3–5, delivering a rich and stimulating curriculum that encourages discussion, respect, and curiosity. You will inspire students of all abilities and contribute to the wider school community. This is a full-time temporary position from January 2026 to July 2026, paid at a daily rate of £160 to £240, depending on experience.

Religious Education Teacher – The School

This is a mixed secondary school and Sixth Form in Hertfordshire, educating approximately 1,300 students aged 11–18, across Years 7–13. The school was rated “Good” in its most recent inspection by the education regulator, with all key areas — quality of education, behaviour & attitudes, personal development, leadership and management, and sixth-form provision — judged “Good.” As a non-selective, comprehensive foundation school, it has a diverse student body and is committed to providing inclusive, high-quality education and strong pastoral support.
